# Using Shortcut Keys

Polarity Enterprise users can make use of system wide shortcut keys that make it easier to apply annotations, run an on-demand search of their clipboard contents or toggle highlight mode on/off. 

The shortcut key bindings are slightly different depending on the OS that you're using.

### Annotation Shortcut

On Windows and Linux, you can highlight text and then quickly open the Annotate window with the shortcut key: `CTRL + double tap "C"`

### On-Demand Only Shortcut

### Highlight Mode Shortcut

### **Focus Mode**
