Polarity Community Edition users can make use of system-wide shortcut keys that make it easier to run an on-demand search of their clipboard contents or toggle highlight mode on/off.

The shortcut key bindings are slightly different depending on the OS that you're using.

You can also read more about configuring the shortcut keys

On-Demand Only Shortcut

On Windows and Linux, you can highlight text and then trigger an on-demand search with the shortcut key: CTRL + C (Hold)

On macOS, you can highlight text and then trigger an on-demand search with the shortcut key: Command + C (Hold)

macOS users will need to enable accessibility settings for Polarity to enable shortcut keys.
