Polarity Server authentication supports three different methods.

Local Authentication

Local authentication is the default out of the box authentication mechanism. Users authenticate to Polarity using a local Polarity username and password. New users can be added by Polarity admins via the Teams page. If is configured, an account creation email is sent to the new user with their auto generated temporary password.

SAML

Polarity supports SAML based authentication. For more information on configuring SAML including guides for various identity providers please see the SAML guide below.

LDAP/Active Directory

Polarity supports LDAP/Active Directory based authentication.
